Surf Side, iconic Mid-Century Modern, near Lecount Hollow (Sea View) CS0064

Surf Side Cottages began as a cottage colony in the 1940s and has welcomed generations of families and friends ever since. Just a short walk from resident-only Lecount Hollow Beach, the mid-century modern cottages are perfect for a family getaway or for groups who want to stay in separate cottages while vacationing together. Returning to the same week each summer has become a cherished tradition for many.

Sea View is nestled in the heart of the cottage colony and offers everything that makes Surf Side Cottages special—and a little bit more! With its welcoming spaces and classic cottage character, it’s an ideal place to settle in, slow down, and enjoy the easy rhythm of summer in Wellfleet.

The wonderful rooftop deck is made for summer evenings, with space to enjoy spectacular sunsets, share a drink, and socialize with family and friends. In the morning, the screened porch beckons with a cool Cape Cod breeze, a cup of coffee, and even room for your four-legged companion to join you.

Inside, Sea View retains the warmth and character of a traditional beach cottage, with knotty pine walls and built-in bureaus that hark back to a simpler time. There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about the cottage’s relaxed atmosphere—a place where you can leave the busy world behind and settle into the pleasures of summer by the sea.

Come experience what makes Surf Side Cottages—and summer in an adorable Wellfleet cottage colony—so special. Spend your days at the beach, your evenings watching the sunset from the rooftop, and your time simply enjoying the company of family, friends, and neighbors. You may leave with more than a great vacation—you may never quite get the sand out of your shoes!
