Overall the house, while a little older is well maintained and has most things you need. Highlights were definitely the location and a garage to store all the sandy toys in (plus chairs and toys to borrow/use during the week). The living room furniture was very comfortable but covered in sand, requiring a very thorough vacuum, but afterwards very cozy. The beds were solid high quality (no squeaky frames), but VERY firm (board hard). We recommend bringing toppers if you like a less rigid sleeping experience. The bedrooms did not have shades, just light filtering curtains so mornings were early and very bright. The deck had very comfortable Adirondack chairs but no shade or umbrellas. There is a nice outdoor table tucked to the side of the house, but also did not have an umbrella for shade (there is a hole for one to be added). We loved the ease of grilling on the patio. The outdoor shower was not enclosed which was a bummer, but still nice to have for sandy feet. The Kitchen had most things you need, but lacked a non-stick pan of any sort and regular turner for pancakes and eggs (there were many big ones for the grill). The inside of the cabinets could use a clean, sticky and dirty from previous renters no doubt - but overall we had what we needed. You really can't beat the location. The soft sand is steps away and the water was warm and had almost no seaweed. The sound of the ocean resonated through the house and of course we enjoyed the beautiful sunrise each day.
