The house was a perfect rental. It came well-supplied and even the beds were comfortable, not something you find often in rentals on cape. It was conveniently located to everything - whenever we googled it was 5-10 minutes to the place we were googling. It is a short drive to the beginning of the bike path in North Falmouth and very close to two really good coffee shops - Local Ground and Daily Brew. It was nice to sit in or out and just stare out at the pond, very relaxing or take a walk down to the harbor. Only regret is it would be great if somehow there was guest access to beaches, but you can get to Old Silver if you are desperate or ride to the beaches along the bike path close to Woodshole.

This was the perfect Cape getaway. The home was spotless, beautiful and expansive, giving us plenty of areas to hang out as a family, as well as quiet areas to read, rest and relax. We took the kayaks out to tour Red Brook Pond and saw plenty of wildlife, including the swans. The swans, in turn, came to visit us by the dock a couple of mornings later where we got to appreciate these majestic creatures up close. The kitchen was outfitted perfectly; cooking and eating there was a joy with that million- dollar view. The beds were super comfortable and my kids enjoyed having their own space. We used the firepit, cornhole, and deck area daily and on the occasion of the nighttime thunder storm, we doused the lights and watched the show from the solarium. We took walks nearby at Red Brook Pond Conservation Area and DeNormandie Woods, biked the Shining Sea Bike Path to Woods Hole, mini-golfed at Cataumet Light and swan at the local beaches: Old Silver, Surf Drive, Hen Cove and Megansett (parked at the nearby bike lot near North Falmouth Library). Daily Brew Coffee House offers live music and the local restaurants, like the Lobster Trap, had good seafood and drinks. We enjoyed every minute!
