Convenient Single-Level Retreat Near Harbor, Ferries & Main St Hyannis (2309)

Stayed with 2 adults, 2 young-ish kids. House was cute and comfortable, kitchen had all the essentials (mostly), good water pressure in shower, beds were comfy (although one twin was basically wrapped in plastic as its "mattress pad" so I would bring a real mattress pad if you're an adult), window AC units worked well, they had some games to play. FYI the fireplace is only decorative and ice maker in fridge doesn't work so bring a bag of ice. Outside was totally unusable - I wouldn't go in yard without shoes, no clothes lines or anything to hang beach towels and swim suits on to dry, a "no fires" sign was up, outdoor furniture covered in moss and mildew and unusable, no grill. Neighborhood is meh but was short 8 mins to Craigsville Beach and we were only using the place to sleep and shower so didn't care about neighborhood. There is NOT a playground 300 ft away - it's an open park with a few swings, not a playground. Would stay here again as it worked well for our family at $1200 for 4 nights in August.

This home was in a great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops with a short drive to the beach. Perfect amount of space for 4 girls getaway and was equipped with essential kitchen items and great air conditioning. My only (very minuscule) request would to be add a mirror somewhere, as the only one was in the bathroom.

We had a good stay. The house is cute and has the minimum for a comfortable stay. Walking distance from main street activities, and close to beaches. I must say all beaches charges fees from $25 to $30 a day!
