Charming Newly Renovated Wellfleet Cottage Near Black Fish Creek (2238)

We loved the cabin and the location.

We walked in to a musty moldy smell. Almost ran out.Opening widows helped. If the rate was $125.00 as listed on it would have been worth it but with added fees from Berkshire Hathaway it made it $299.00 a night. I could have stayed in a beautiful guest house for that. I tried to cancel that day but there is a no cancellation policy. In the future I will check to see if a rental is handled by this company and look elsewhere. There is a $200.00 cleaning fee, and we were asked to clean as much as possible. We did but isn't that what I paid for. I have two rentals in St. Thomas, VI and we are so much more turned into making our guests stay comfortable. A small bar of soap in the bathroom or a dishtowel in the kitchen would have been nice.

At the very last minute my chosen rental was inaccessible due to heavy rains. Within one hour my agent Mary Eddy, found this place. It was lovely and very homey. The kitchen was well stocked and newly renovated. We entertained family outside where there was ample space for BBQing and a picnic table. I loved the flower garden and beautiful rose bushes and there was a bird feeder and birdseed provided so we saw and heard beautiful birds every day. And it was close to Wellfleet Center, art galleries hiking and several beautiful beaches. Not to mention a great French Bakery too! We really enjoyed our 2 weeks there.
