Stony Brook opens for the season
Watch corn ground by water power, explore the museum, and walk the scenic footpaths—free admission all season long.
Watch Corn Become Cornmeal
From opening day through late August, the Grist Mill opens its doors on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Step inside and watch as water power turns the millstones, grinding corn into cornmeal the way it's been done for generations. You'll see the whole process unfold—kernels transformed into flour dust in warm light, the mill's ancient mechanics still at work. Browse stone-ground organic cornmeal to take home, explore the museum upstairs, watch weaving demonstrations on the barn loom, and wander the scenic footpaths beside Stony Brook. Admission is free.
