Sand Sculptures at Mayflower Beach
Join the annual contest where families build, create, and celebrate a Cape Cod tradition—judging at 9 a.m.
An Annual Tradition on Cape Cod
Every summer, Mayflower Beach transforms into an open-air gallery where artists and families compete in the Sand Sculpture Contest. Judging begins at 9 a.m., and the beach fills with intricate castles, abstract forms, and creatures that emerge from the sand. Guests staying at Robert Paul Vacations can walk to the beach and watch the competition unfold, or enter themselves. For entry details and registration, contact the Town of Dennis Beach Department at 508-760-6159.
