Reptiles Rock! November 29

Hands-on rainforest reptile show at Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster. Friday, November 29, 2024, at 11:00am. Tickets $20 per person.

Hands-on learning with live animals

Reptiles Rock brings the rainforest to life through direct engagement. A herpetologist guides children through a mini zoo of 10 to 14 smaller animals—bugs, frogs, snakes, and lizards—before introducing four larger specimens: a tortoise, monitor or tegu lizard, boa or python, and an American alligator. Throughout the presentation, volunteers assist up close. After the program, every guest handles one of these amazing reptiles themselves.

A hands-on rainforest adventure

Reptiles Rock brings the tropics to Cape Cod. A herpetologist guides you through a mini zoo of 10 to 14 smaller animals—bugs, frogs, snakes, lizards—before introducing four larger creatures: a red or yellow foot tortoise, a monitor or tegu lizard, a 9 to 10 ft. boa or python, and an American alligator. Throughout the presentation, volunteers come up to assist. After, everyone handles one of these amazing reptiles. It's the kind of fun, dynamic, and educational program that turns a rainy November morning into something your family won't forget.
