90+ Artisans, One Weekend

Labor Day at John Simpkins Field brings handmade jewelry, art, photography, textiles, specialty foods, and more to South Yarmouth.

90+ artisans, one perfect weekend

Over Labor Day weekend, John Simpkins Field becomes a gathering place for makers. You'll find fine jewelry and photography alongside turned wood and resin creations. The food vendors are just as serious—single-origin coffee, house-made jams, fresh cannoli. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome, and parking is free. Rain or shine, it happens.

Taste the Craft

Beyond the artisan goods, the festival brings together specialty food makers from across New England. You'll find kettle corn, single-origin roasted coffee beans, premium cocoa powder, and jams and jellies in flavors you won't find in any supermarket. There are nut butters, herbal dips, baked goods, cannoli, whoopee pies, dessert mixes, oils, and balsamic vinegars—each one made with the same care as the jewelry and art on display. It's the kind of market where every booth tells a story, and every taste is worth savoring.
